The question I most often get asked about this painting is if the tiger head was real. The answer? Yes. A regional university natural history museum allowed professors to borrow specimens from their collection. This piece became the first in the feast & fesitvals series. The balloon with SpongeBob was added while the painting was in progress when gifted by my sisters. I could not believe how well the tiger and the balloon worked together to create this still moment.
